President – Drago ISI
Simon Villeneuve, co-founder of Drago-I.S.I., Is President and Chief Technology Officer. He defines and communicates the technology medium-term vision, while developing Drago-I.S.I technology. Mr. Villeneuve is responsible for management, strategic guidelines and development of the entire Drago-I.S.I group.
Serving as the Innovation and Technology Chief, Simon Villeneuve manages all research and development, technical support and operational activities.
Mr. Villeneuve has over 17 years of experience on high-tech equipment, in production processes, as well as in 3D digital technology and 3D optical measurement in the field of metrology and reverse engineering. Before founding Drago-I.S.I. Mr. Villeneuve worked for many years in the automotive, pharmaceutical and aerospace fields in North America. He began his career with SML, in the metal division sheet, and went on in the molding division of DBM Reflex before reaching a solid experience at the high-technology 3D metrology division of Creaform.
Mr. Villeneuve holds a college degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in design, manufacturing and quality control.
Eric Bedard B.Eng
Vice-President – Drago ISI
Eric Bedard, founder of Drago-I.S.I., is Vice-President and CEO. Mr. Bédard is also responsible for management, strategic guidelines and development of the entire Drago-I.S.I group. He also continues its work to develop and supervise strategic business development initiatives. He supports various operations and participate in technology development of Drago-I.S.I.
Mr. Bedard has nearly 20 years of experience, mainly in the field of aeronautics, especially as project manager, manufacturing support and customer service.
Mr. Bedard holds a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Laval University.
Fabio Bandera B.Eng.
Director of Engineering – Drago ISI
Fabio Bandera, who joined the team in 2010 after the first prototype of the Drago cannon, is chief engineer for Drago-I.S.I. He oversees all work-related design and engineering, as well as the activities related to research, development and manufacturing. He was involved in the hydraulic and structural design of the latest version of the Drago cannon, and structural design of the 5-in-1 trailer system.
Fabio has over 10 years of structural design experience in the aerospace industry, particularly in the structural repair of aircrafts through its Aerospace Aquila society. He also worked for a multitude of self-build projects and multirotor fixed drones. His knowledge of various CAD softwares, AutoCAD, Catia and Solidworks, covers more than a decade. He is also an avid photographer and is considered the official director of photography for Drago-I.S.I.
Fabio holds a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University, with a specialization in design and manufacturing.
